This year has revealed seriously bold and trendy designs, although it has been a quiet year for the fashion industry. Over the past few weeks, broad and in-charge blazers, baguette bags, and chic face masks have dominated fashion weeks. This year look book brought back the vintage aesthetics and chic styles. I love each of them, and you can see why.
1. Satin ruched Slip dress and Empire dress
This new trend that will not be fading away any time soon has to do with fabric, from flowy midi skirts to mini slip dresses, satin is the way to go!
2. Oversized Shoulder pad Boyfriend Jackets
Design a long-line profile and use an 80's-inspired oversized boyfriend blazer to play with shapes. This outerwear cinches your waist with the help of shoulder pads and elongates your thighs.
The baguette bag has become a cultural symbol of the '90s, a fashion essential in our wardrobes that never seems to go out of style. Discover the many variations of the bag for shopping this season, from retro finds to logo-inspired and sleek, chic designs.
4.High waist trousers and pant suits
love each of them, and you can see why. This timeless trends came back from the 90's vintage look book. A sharp blazer with the high waist trousers gives a classy and powerful look, and simply speaks volumes.
5. Mid-raised heels
This year we say goodbye to high heels and chose comfortable mid-high heels, and we certainly don't want to go back anytime soon.
6. Pearl hair slides
Pearls are a classic that's never going to go out of style. Though they are typically worn on necklaces, pearl hair clips and barrettes are more likely to be seen on your favourite celebs and influencers these days. This look is inspired from Vogue models, and is also called Vogue hair clips.
If you're not ready to fully commit to this trend, these gorg butterfly necklace are a subtle way to test the waters. These are my personal favourite, very subtle and aesthetic, you can slip on to a beautiful dress add them on and you'll be all set for your date.
8.Tema purple and pastel colours
While 2020 was the year of neon's, 2021 is expected to soothe it down with pastels.
9. Head Scarfs and bands
Yet another vintage look, his sleek fashion trend is coming back. Without overdoing it, headscarves cover your hair and add a finishing touch to your look. Choose or keep it plain with bright colours and block letters from a silky style with floral motifs or complex patterns.
10. Black face masks
When it comes to protecting yourself, you might as well do it with style. This new trend from B-town stars to the social media influencers is stunning. These masks match almost any outfit you wear.
